Objectives of the Foundation

Bharat Gaurav Award Foundation seeks to identify the talent across the country which has not been recognized or honored. This serves to encourage the awardees to amplify their contributing efforts as well. There are many individuals and organizations who are working tirelessly to enable development for those around them and beyond, yet the spotlight of the media and the government does not fall on them. Their work has the potential to inspire a large number of people to do similar work in their own communities, which is why it is essential that these true heroes must be recognized, honored and thus encouraged. The objective of the Bharat Gaurav Award Foundation in conferring the Bharat Gaurav Awards and the Lifetime Achievement Awards is two-fold.

Inspiring the Youth

Wide publicity of the good work done by the individuals and organizations encourages the youth across the country to emulate their example and to start believing that they can make a difference in the community and the nation by the sheer dint of their hard work, determination and value orientation. The awards serve to dispel the feeling of helplessness and lethargy and replace it with a sense of optimism and positive energy to work hard and create a New India. Each Bharat Gaurav awardee in themselves is the reflection of the leaders of New India. The challenges and barriers these leaders faced in the course of doing their path breaking work and how they have navigated through and overcame those difficult times, is brought out by the Foundation. This serves to enthuse more people to step forward and face the challenges only to emerge stronger and victorious.

Social heroes, leaders or public servants; anyone committedly contributing and successfully working towards nation building who believes that they deserve the recognition and appreciation, can be nominated for an award. All applications are reviewed by the Bharat Gaurav Award Committee which makes the final decision in selecting the award winners. The award committee is independent and does not compromise in selecting the very best and most deserving people. The award committee selects talent with balanced assessment of all the applicants. The committee has great vision and years of experience to understand talent.

Chandrasekhar Azad, Subhash Chandra Bose, Sardar Bhagat Singh and many others sacrificed their lives and today all of us are in a free country because of them. The Bharat Gaurav Awards are dedicated to such heroes of the country in this campaign to honor the glory of Bharat, we have been working for the past several years and are also getting the support of the Govt. of India. On the platform of Bharat Gaurav Awards every year, Union Ministers honor the talents of the country.
