Each year, these distinguished honours are conferred at a grand national ceremony graced by eminent dignitaries from the Government of India. The occasion not only recognises exceptional contributions but also inspires awardees to continue their impactful journey, while motivating millions of citizens to actively participate in building a stronger, inclusive, and progressive New India.
The Foundation annually presents 20 Bharat Gaurav Awards and 5 Lifetime Achievement Awards, maintaining the highest standards of credibility and excellence. Over the years, this initiative has garnered immense respect and widespread support from citizens as well as national leadership. The presence and endorsement of Hon’ble Governors, Chief Ministers, Union Ministers, Members of Parliament, senior bureaucrats, and renowned personalities from diverse fields further elevate the stature and prestige of these honours.
The selection process is conducted with utmost integrity by an independent and eminent Selection Committee. To ensure transparency and authenticity, no personal recommendations are entertained. Nominations are accepted strictly through formal recommendations from District Magistrates (IAS), Superintendents of Police (IPS), or Members of Parliament representing the region where the nominee’s work has made a significant impact.
Today, the Bharat Gaurav Awards are widely regarded as one of India’s most prestigious civilian recognitions. The distinguished list of past awardees includes Hon’ble Governors, Union Ministers, Chief Ministers, and other influential leaders and change-makers who have left an indelible mark on society.
